Water 1 Splash, dash elan, flash born of water not of wine 2 flowing, glowing, rippling, growing swelling in spring it sings 3 living, breathing, teeming, seething through mountains, valleys, hills 4 trickling, sprinkling, rippling, spilling over land and seas of green 5 washing, cleansing, sparkling, dowsing, errors and cares that life can bring 6 dancing, prancing, falling, rising all comprising as living being 7 water’s life without it, naught, it’s gleam is bright it’s lack is wrought 8 praise for water raise its song its dance is living its power’s strong Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |
