LEAN ON ME Sing, Muse of comfort and strength Offered and shared in cooperation Toward common good. Aye, cyclicity speaks her terms As up and down The Psyche’s fortunes speak Strength and weakness. Strength to weakness lends its hands, Uplifts and holds steady Until the uncertainty of imbalance has passed. Aye, and mark it well, When ‘tis thy turn in weakness, To lean and not to cling, To borrow and not to take, To accept and to regive,-- Unconditionally. Thus, strength is shared, Not weakness. |

We all need, somebody to lean on...that's the tune in my ears now, and the song in my heart. Well done, friend. Hope you've got some really big shoulders, there's a big crowd out here, and on any given day you may have a dozen or more leaners. But then we are here when you are needin some leanin time too. |

Very good Joe, much wisdom in these words. When ‘tis thy turn in weakness, To lean and not to cling, To borrow and not to take, To accept and to regive,-- Unconditionally. Thus, strength is shared, Not weakness. Absolutely wonderful. If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |

To lean and not to cling, To borrow and not to take, To accept and to regive ==== I can't agree more, esp to lean and not to cling. |
