Lighthouse
By: Noah Eaton

So I’m all alone
No one there to care for me
It couldn’t possibly get much cold
I can't escape from me

I never did anything, I wouldn’t be all that shy
If there were friends who could be there by my side

They always say I’m free
But no one can’t even see me
No one wants me
No one can’t even see me

I try to run away
Into the cold black evening
Bid goodbye to this cruel world
Topple from here down into heaven

I'd come home bleeding
The neighborhood boys would abuse me
My father left me alone
He ignored me, told me to stop crying

Trying to escape from my depression and pity
Trip upon serendipity

They always say I’m free
But you can’t even see me
No one wants me
No one can’t even see me

I always felt like I was being chased by demons, and I try to find a safe place to hide
I know what I need but I can’t find it, all this pain tearing me up inside
Sometimes I would think that forgetting is my best defense
I find myself feeling nothing at all, my blood fatigued in regrets
I search everyday for faiths lighthouse, and I end up getting lost
I can’t find my way home, and I feel like I’m being crushed in doubts jaws
I’d be scared asking myself “Will I ever be loved?”
Will I ever be loved?

And I’m left loveless
I keep on forgetting that there is a sun always glimmering
I can’t stop seeing nightmares at night
I just want to be happy

Tell me why I can’t stop bleeding
Is it possible that I am meant to be lonely?

They always say I’m free
But you can’t even see me
Does anyone want me?
Can’t you even see me?

Does anyone care?
Does anyone care?
Does anyone care?
Does anyone care?

Save me…
Save me…

this reads as a really sad song...Noah, love will find you sweetheart...don't give up.   You are such a wonderful young man. I wish I could reach through this darn screen and just hug you and make it all ok

No one is meant to be lonely, there is a special someone out there for each person.
We all love you, and care about you very much. ((HUGS))

Noah, I have found that loooking deep within for all the answers is sometimes going the wrong direction. What works best (for me) when I am blue and sad is to look away from myself, stop focussing on what I need or want, and spend time satisfying someone else's needs or wants. Especially in the "true forever-kind-of-love" department. I'm not too successful in that arena. So I try to find some other way to keep my mind and hands busy. That's the only way the dishes or laundry ever get done around my house! LOL, that is a profoundly true statement.  Anyway, hang in there friend, that lighthouse will shine for you some day, but maybe not until you look away from it for a while.

Mistletoe Angel,

Thank you for the nice poem.  I have written you a poem as well over on the spiritual side of Passion's.  I hope that you enjoy it and that it might lift your spirits a bit.

God bless you my good friend from Colorado,

-Bob

Mistletoe Angel -- Dear Noah,

Midnitesun is right -- look away.
Look away to things that make you smile.
Smile at things that make you want to play.
Play and work away from your sorrow for a while.

You have a  beautiful smile Noah..and a good heart. I sometimes look for your responses to keep me going and bring a smile to my own face..so yes, I care..and yes, at times I need you...despite the age difference, your words sometimes  are  very mature in expression..and I believe you would make a wonderful (adoptive) son. smile when you read this, as I mean it.

Ah the lighthouse Noah ~ That beacon that lights the way...With your sweet heart, and the goodness you spread around there's no need to worry.  You put a warm light in everyone's heart with your lovely poetry and kind words.  Such a sad yet beautiful piece.  Bonnie
