Thanksgiving day two-thousand-one I made my way over mountain grandeur rain and snow fell coated trees and meadow in white while rivers, lakes seemed to swell with American pride in spite of past enemy’s goal as if the collection of all that fell from the sky epitomized the unity of the people of our land joined together in glorious pools, living water, teeming with life reflecting all around, a mirror profound, beauty of the remnants that stand both in sunshine and gray hope springing toward winter sustaining until the thaw when new life will arrive for all to see ©November 26, 2001 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |
