i saw the face of God
when i first looked in your eyes
He gave to me a purpose
the best gift of my life

and from that very moment
our journey had begun
for on that day, God gave to me
my heart, my soul, my SON

You've made me remember the days that my children where born, (quite some time ago now) and there has never in all the years since their birth, been a moment more special than the first time I looked into those tiny angelic faces.
This is lovely poem. Thank you for sharing it.
