She she had heard the words a thousand times tonight they finally reached her ears all along he had said he didn’t care and her heart felt it so painfully clear she had denied herself so many things through years truth was but one the laces that she once had tied had already been cut and needed to be undone she had wondered about her own dangling strings grieving alone at the resting place of it’s death thinking it could not be done, placing one last daisy there she stood up and breathed another breath "...the rest is silence" (Hamlet) Shakespeare |
