Petrified
emotions crumbling,
in conjunction with bricks & mortar
and molten steel

Emotional
heart suffering,
in conjunction with victims
seeking escape.

Anticipating
soul hoping,
in conjunction with rescuers
endlessly searching.

Conscious
thoughts whirring
in conjunction with world leaders
deciding on a course of action.

Exasperated
mind fearful
In conjuntion with all humanity
awaiting the outcome.

Well said, Ven. It is scary to think of what the outcome might be of the worldwide responses to terror. More terror?  Or will we stumble onto the pathway to peace?
