In bloodless flow Life’s words dripped Onto parch and paper Staining the virgin With obscene images And degrading tale Such loss As was scribed Met scribbled hope Still... the stains From hands touching pure Are left when all else Is erased |

Once our innocence is lost, is gone. Great write, it makes me think of how I cover my eyes when there is a bloody or scary scene on a movie, I always want to protect my mind innocent of certain images. Thanks. |

May I add "Bravo" also. Yes, stains....they never seem to completely come out do they? This is wonderful. |
