You walked a road that was meant for me. You hung in my place on a twisted tree. You suffered the cold of my prison cell. You endured my torment, taunts and yells. The nails you took, they screamed my name. Upon your shoulders you bore my shame. Those were my tears that you chose to cry. I was the one who was destined to die. There is no greater love. The brave may die...but the cautious never live... |
