One Thousand Somethings one leaves behind so many things, but most of all, the smiles that bring a sense of calm, this attitude no matter what, there’s no intrude into day’s light, where there’s harboring a sense of joy, yes, this you bring so let me count all that you do on fingers and toes, I’ll start with two ways you delight me so, my dear, one, being you, the other, being near then we’ll go on to count of three and that is when we form a we so from this point we’ll carry on traipse through twilight, on till dawn the stars shall multiply all thoughts of the somethings that you’ve brought as one leaves behind so many things a sense of joy, yes, this You bring [This message has been edited by Decaflame (edited 10-02-2001).] |

I am SO serious, I absolutely adored this one, and printed it out! Now this is my favorite of yours, as it was perfect in every single way! I too love the last two lines, and what higher love is there than that? ~Better to write for yourself and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self~ Cyril Connolly |

This is so romantic! It's so true. We do, often unknowingly, leave behind so many little somethings. This is a wonderful piece! The brave may die...but the cautious never live... |

Been spending time in the land of introspection dear lady? Very nicely done... very nicely presented and flows wonderfully... still in the end what is left behind after a thousand somethings.... is perhaps 6 degrees removed from something someone else left...and we might find the most unkind act did in fact spur reactions that triggered more actions or simply left hope... again... very nicely done... I enjoyed! |

I may not be real... but something here is. Enjoyed the sentiment... although the way it was posted made we work for it. Don't know if that was by intention or just internet mechanics at work. Thanks for sharing. Peace. |
