Another jewel in your crown, Mysteria. I really liked this research project. I lived in Israel for a year in the 70's, and on the kibbutz, a communal farm, we celebrated a holiday called Sukkot, which is also a harvest celebration at the end of the growing season. We had a tractor-drawn wagon filled with fruits, vegetables and grains, Israeli folk dancing, singing, a bonfire, and a wonderful feast. It is one of my best memories. Thanks for reminding me of all the things I have to be thankful for, even this year. |

Midnitesun ~ Your Thanksgiving sounded absolutely fantastic! Thank you for reading this romp through my mind. Sunshine ~ Well, not sure it is well done, but I sure spent time trying to figure out why your Thanksgiving is so much later than ours. And WOW you guys sure go all out on Halloween too, I can't wait to read those poems. Thanks for reading this one. |
