Do you remember playing Moonlight Sonata
anytime I’d ask
you, always a little shy of your talent
me, in the corner smiling discreetly of love

Ask me if I remember
how beautiful you were
you, oblivious to anyone else in the room
me, lost within your tune

Oh, now you've hit a tender spot. One of my favorites, Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. I often listen to this one as background for my favorite poetry.
Now, what was this poem about again? I got lost there for a minute.
Oh, that's right....about being lost in the moment.

I've never had a woman play a Moonlight sonata for me but we listened to it together...and it was fabulous...James

There is nothing like watching and listening to the one you love play.  Thanks for bringing back some wonderful memories for me, Duncan.  I used to do this when I was in college and my boyfriend came to visit.  He'd play and I'd listen, captivated by the music.
