fate? what is it?

The path before me is unknown
its destination culminates with end
no map can be read to guide me
there's no visable turns or bends

So ponder I do the logic
of things and events so far
Are these the results of humans
or a collective, consciousness
of stars

If we follow the days of nothingness
then the path we walk is dim
If we try to change our lives
we can build a light within

Fate knows me not
and calculate me it can't
for when fate dictates a parallel
I calculate a slant

Does this mean I 'm different?
or is fate a changing sea
Or is what, I change, changeless
and just fate guiding me

regardless of what you call it, that you recognize and identify that which is outside your control, is a good thing....
