Fresh cut flowers adorn my home Picked from this garden of mine Many hours I spend in this wonderland As I soak up the glorious sunshine An abundance of activity Goes on here within my yard So many wonders of nature You don't have to look too hard The fairies stand so proud Around the edge of the tranquil pond As they are sheltered from the sun By the arching tree fern frond The blackbirds frolic in the birdbath They seem to be having so much fun As I sit here and write about my garden Enjoying the warming rays of the sun Many keepers I have in my garden Beautiful statues made from stone There are fairies, gnomes and wombats And a cupid perched upon a dome All my senses are awakened In this garden paradise of mine So many colors of the rainbow As well as fragrances oh so fine Long shadows now fill my garden Soon a blanket of stars will fill the sky As Mother Nature rests her weary body And another beautiful day passes us by Suetang |

Now you know I walked through your garden at Starlite, and now look at you! Your garden is more beautiful and so is your writing. This was simply beautiful, and your imagery was so clear Sue, I loved this. ~Better to write for yourself and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self~ Cyril Connolly |

Perhaps I'll take you up on your offer if I'm ever in that part of the world... I'd love to see some pictures of it, in the meanwhile... -MVS "Learn to let go of fear, doubt, and disbelief..." --THE MATRIX |

Oh, this is so nice. Expect to see me in your garden after two or three weeks of -40F. I'll warm my bones in that garden any day! |
