How can there be a bright side to things When things aren't always what they seem? I'm trying to see the light that once was bright but it's fading out, becoming dim Now growing darker than it's ever been You accuse me of being dumb like it's a normal way to refer to someone It's hard to feel with nerves that are numb I have 20/20 eyesite but looking at you I go blind Even if I saw total darkness I could still feel you inside What I seek is peace if any is left I feel out of options and out of breath A jury doesn't have to be convinced to see that im the target of your anger You are far from innocent Still you ignore it, keeping it concealed Sometimes the angel image just doesn't appeal I believe the unbelievable Since you showed me that it's real Welcome to the dark side this is the place that I feel so lonely There must be others in this spot Or am I the only? I dont want to be here anymore The walls are closed in like a cave It's deep, cold darkness Traps me like a grave The dark side comes for weak ones like me Perhaps we just imagine that it exists It takes more than physical stength To escape the hold it has on my wrists. |

Sorrow echoes throughout these lines. So sad and full of anguish. One thing though, he can never ever take your hope from you. Hold onto it and nuture it for it will set you free in the end. Nice expression. All writing comes |
