as you start the life you've chosen take pride in all you do now you're on your way, with each passing day to making all your dreams come true the first step's always hardest but soon, you'll come to see it may be tough, but you're strong enough to be the man i know you'll be i'm so proud to be your mother, but there are no words to let you know you were once my baby, now you're in the navy and who knows how far you'll go so, let life take you where it leads you but remember where you've been be strong, be proud, as you reach new ground and just "let the journey begin" [This message has been edited by bonnie1961 (edited 09-30-2001).] |

From one proud Mom to another, I can tell he is still your little boy too  I am going to be a gramma for the second time, and I still seem to forget and tell my son to put slippers on when I am over there - lol. I wish your son well in the Navy, and this was a wonderful poem to him.
