For those who might not know, or remember, lunch times during high school was divided into three, A-Lunch, B-Lunch, C-Lunch. Hence the title and underpinning for the beginning of this write... "C-Lunch" Timidly I smiled when you stood next to me. My nervous eyes made jokes with friends there at the table as we talked about nothing at all. But inside I wished that you would sit down for once and laugh along with me. But you never did. I just knew you would slip away with the years. Until one day, you called. And boldly I laughed and said ‘yes’ to lunch although not too bravely inside. We met. We spoke. We joked about us. That old sparkle I still saw in your eyes burst into flames. And I was consumed! |

This is so sweet. (though I was a naughty girl and usually had liquid lunch in the parking lot Great memories.) If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |

C lucnh You had all the left overs The spoiled milk The least amount of adult supervision You did not have to begin your class and then leave in the middle to return to monotony You did not have to wonder how many more hours would tick away until you could go home and eat a Hot Pocket The coolest boys where in C lunch the cutest boys the baddest boys The different hue of light It always seemed more blue Ahh, good read, my dear Texan Bringing back those memories |
