will you share your wisdom miss jonnie jo i understand you're in the know tell me this, and then the rest; what heart has he within his chest... you know the secrets that he hides in you the moments he confides so tell me, will you tell me friend what laughter heals the whole of him what words will shake him into tears what chambers claim his hopes and fears what kind of heaven does he crave what love will drive him to a slave can you whisper it, do you know... when he needs to hide where does he go when his pride is wounded and his smile dim who's embrace encircles him if i look for him will he reach for me or will he be in fear and flee what kind of journey is this man what gentle holding has his hand to look in his eyes how does it feel the tangible him the absolute real to know his smile to feel his touch can you tell me just this much... miss jonnie jo he holds you close and i know you're the one who knows tell me this, and then the rest-- what heart has he within his chest... -dgvarner 09-28-01 ~dgvarner/fallen rain~ |

blues tune sounds good..i can imagine this middle-aged man holding a guitar, wearing sunglasses, belting out this tune pining for the lost, howling to the audience, yet with a self-assured grin that makes you root for him.... |

LOL @ RASCAL...you cant stand it can you...lol ok..to save RASCAL from stressing..this is written to the best friend of the one i'm finding interest in....lol got it? lol i'm not exactly the "other woman"..as has been interpreted..(which, its ok with me, if you misinterpret...i'm sure i do the same to many of YOUR poems..lol) dont you find sometimes..that you just want to know every little thing...even if its not a serious relationship..you just find yourself completely intrigued... and then you figure out where to get the answers..the dirt..the nitty gritty...lol and all the intimate details....  then you want to know even more..! lol anyway..PIXY, TRACEY, EAGLE, KAILE...i thank you all, for stopping in to read me..read me how you will..just read me.. lol hugs, g ~dgvarner/fallen rain~ "all you need is someone you can hold..dont be sad, youre not alone..i will be here for you..." mwsmith [This message has been edited by dgvarner (edited 10-01-2001).] |
