Shadowed Memories I can’t escape your cold grasp Your tendrils snaking around My hostile fighting thoughts These shadowed memories Chills my frightened heart Freezes my imprisoned soul I just want to scream STOP Make your haunting horror Halt this relentless control Your suffocating demeanor Alienates me from the one I love Keeping me alone and scared No one understands the guilt The never ending numbing fear That grips my being to the core You make me become so weak So sick with this helplessness Not knowing which way to turn. I just want to make you go Make you end this torture Break the power you have I want to banish the shadows I want be cured of everything For once I want to be fear free. I want to overcome. rosepetals25 - I found the best way to alleviate fear or hurt is to write about it, and then post it on Passions. Keep writing, and it will stop hurting... BC |

Auguste - I will... one day. Thank you for stopping in. Sven - Strength... *chuckles* I'm not known for my strength.... thanks for coming in  Irish Rose - Thank you for coming to read.. I'm glad you liked it. Dave - I have read the poem.. and all I can say is I love you even more  Vandana - I'm glad you liked it Bill - Well.. writing helps.. but I don't think writing will stop this hurt. Alan - Thank you... I hope that days comes as well. Kit - Thank you. I'm glad you liked it. Writing helps the sting go away for awhile.
