Wanting to embrace the serenity I long for, I sit in solitude. Pondering over thing unexplainable, And aching with need. No longer the emptiness feeds... Instead, merely flowing throughout my body, Inhabiting the cavernous holes it has left behind, Previously content with the simple consumption of my internal banquet of feelings. Delicacies including trust, love, and belonging. Emptiness has fed on everything but my sad struggle. "i tried so hard, and got so far..but in the end, it doesn't even matter.." |

Yes...it is picky on what it feeds. But we must let hope be the spoiler of its appetite. Excellent write! Enjoyed your honesty in this. Sincerely, Regina |
