(This is a little dark, but no fear, I do not have these same feelings still. I was perusing my old books and found this one jotted down in one of them.)

There isn't enough alcohol
in the world
to entertain me,
and there aren't enough drugs
to keep me occupied, either.
Something is missing.
I can't quite grasp hold
of what it is
but there must
be something more.
I hope there is
something more,
because that's my only
excuse for breathing
now days.
I better find it soon though
because the comprehesion
that there might not be
is taking over.
And hope is wearing thin.

"I am nae poet, in a sense;
But just a rhymer like by chance..."
