Slight shake of hand
in trembling thought that passes
condensing shadows once forgotten
in a last moment embrace.
A look of sorrow through tempered glass
time would'nt hold the pain
as it embeds itself
into shredded parts of a broken heart.
One way North, one South
of the same road you cannot have
but wish the rain would wash away
the self hatred you embrace.

Self hatred can be pretty powerful and sometimes we cannot wash it away with out the help of someone else. A powerful poem that touched my heart. Well done.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Michael, my heart goes outot all of those who have lost hope and have learned to hate themselves! (sad sigh) I used to hate myself every day a sad child, but ever since I have begun to share love to others, I am very happy and I feel the more you give, the more you will be loved, and the more you will love yourself in result. (sigh) BRAVO!!! I love your words! (big hugggsssss) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Michael, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I always felt dust is best served by a rainstorm, lots of showers, like this poem refers to...to wash everything away, stand in it....wow

Self hatred is a negitive emotion and must learn it's way to be cleansed by the "Light" The light that shines in each and everyone of of us.  The light is the soul, and yours has had it's share of cleansing more then once.  A life lesson some never learn.

Love,
Marina
