Revised even now contemplation of exercising my right to modify words of mine leaves me blinking ~ what audacity who should rewrite pain of yesterday or hope of tomorrow if the me of now refuses to think back on the what of then did I slip so easily from an old cocoon into new wings or fly so high that the sun singed all memory of how I got to where I am… perhaps it is just not worth it to revise the truths of yesterday to please those who would read it today |

“to revise the truths of yesterday” What truths are there of yesterday That which came and past away, Even if you’d revise the word’s play There is nothing of truth left behind Except for that which dwells in mind And tainted revisions that today binds. Gloom |

Sometimes I read back many years and relive a state of mind Some emotional thoughts from yesteryear that remain close, personal and unshared ~ I echo your feelings |

If your present journey affords a better view, don't look back. |

It is not worth revising the words of yesterday for without them there would be no real you! However, it is important to look forward and write the words of the future for in them there is hope. ![]() ~*~ Carpe' Diem ~*~ |
