The moonlight scatters across the desert sky no sound I can hear, just shapes to my eye Stars suddenly shoot upwards a dull thumping in the hills a crash, a boom a thunder, another multi kill The bomb that landed at the market shredded children to a pulp their little legs ground up their little bodies beyond all help We will not see these pictures we'll cheer and watch t.v We'll revel in their misfortune rather them maimed than me The cost they pay will be worth it life is ruled by them with guns just note, the crying single girls who once were very proud moms Richy if this offends you, then good, its supposed too. The reality of war is seldomly shown. [This message has been edited by Hollowman (edited 09-25-2001).] |

A poem that made me think about the everyday struggles people in Brooklyn go through. Loved it! As my borough has always stated- Do or Die. |

Very graphic portrayal. Something we all need to think about if we're going to agree to an all out war. There would be many innocent lives lost. You didn't offend me there Richy. You just put my feelings into words |
