I love you enough to, if I have to...
To let you go.

I cannot say I don’t care, I don’t worry.
I would lie within my heart if I did.
I cannot say I feel sorry
For I love you enough to give you this.

If a beautiful bird comes to me,
I will love it, care for it and treasure it.
When it wants to fly, to find joy....
I will give it a gentle push
I will watch it fly, fly ever so high
I will blow a kiss, wave with a sigh.
I will give it freedom to choose
I will let it go...but never say goodbye.

Oh, Gosh, this is breaking my heart, my daughter's moving back to Mississippi next year and my youngest son is going away to college...and oh, gosh this just gets to me, Magnus, it really does!

Yes Irish...certainly a lonely feeling when
they leave....but even more beautiful and
wonderful is the joy of them returning.

Exceptional ... never is best said.
Love is meant to be free and on
the wings of a dove is where it
ought to be.

Great job!!

Love isn't free if it has to be caged.
Setting it free, that's how it must be.
And may the dove of Peace fly freely.
That's what came to my mind when I read this.
Thanks, Magnus.

Midnitesun...A dove is a very symbolic figure
within our lives....Peace, beauty,  warmth,
a special thing in our lives...all so
wonderful.

Sad, but very real write.  Full of much emotion, Magnus.  You've captured it well.

When love is set free and it comes back it is there to stay forever in your heart. Beautiful writing, my friend.  I am sure your dove returned to the heart that loves it and grants it freedom.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Karen,  letting the dove fly,  when you love
it...is an act of great courage and true
love.  For...it shall come back to me...if
there is true love...and I feel there always
will be...and is..  Thanx for your words...
have always enjoyed them.

If my dove grew..desired to fly,  I would
nudge it, hug it and cry a tear as the
wings and wind carried it afar...I do hope
I will have that courage...

thank you peaches...once again...surely do.
