In my room it's cold and soon I’ll have slept the afternoon away… The leaves are falling The wind is calling Your name You left me when I was hurting Took some money, my favorite shirt I know you can’t understand this But I still have to go to work Smell some breakfast Mother’s cooking But for you I could not provide I have given You have taken Love was all I had inside The stars are out The TV’s showing Another guy Who’s better knowing That his girl has left him too I smile and want to be with you You can fill me with so much life But without you I swallow knives So what’s wrong I can’t walk If you see me You might hear me talk To you I can’t breathe I can hear Do you know I’ll fight for you You’re my lover I want no other I want to wake As our dreams come true It’s life… [This message has been edited by wayoutwalt (edited 11-09-2001).] |
