Repost for the mood I have been in for the last couple of days-- ~~ I ramble in my mind, pieces of something Does the runner in you trot on solid ground or merely run in place on sinking sand do you fear the dark of yourself, or it a simple manner for which you have come to accept a different love, a different feeling, different I grow from the wounds of desire and reach for a shadow that doesn’t follow me, yet plays hide and seek I wanted happiness in my life a room of sunshine, but have failed in the storms of passing times that lay heavy upon my heart I have loved you for so long that I can hear you breathing from here and when your eyes close mine close as well I am too young to feel this tired and too old to start over but my spirit in its humble light offers me some kind of hope I look back upon yesterday and all I see is the five year old that skinned her knee and cried when the bandage was removed I feel safer knowing that one day my soul will pass through yours and once again I will know comfort I keep my ideals, because in spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart. And you call that rambling??? I would love to hang out in your mind for a few hours and get a better picture, it seems there is a lot to be said. And your eyes ... like stain green glass, letting the light of better days to shine through. WOW ... could become happily lost!! Your work has great strengths, it shares your mind, your heart and your soul. Most excellent!! |
