With fingertips I lay and trace the scars upon your skin. Knowing there are those that lay much deeper in your heart. Longing for one wish, that I could begin our lives again. And take our love right back through time, to the very start. I'd erase the things we've said and the doubt we planted there. I'd enforce the trust that every great love feasts upon. I'd take every fight we had, make it absolutely fair. I'd take all the hurtful things and will them to be gone. I'd touch you with the love I hold way deep down in my soul. I'd let you know how very much you have meant to me. To make a stronger marriage then we have would be my goal. Show you that I know how great our love was meant to be. But I have no ability to turn back hands of time. I can only make tomorrow better then today. And let you know how very glad I am that you are mine. And tell you that I love you with every word I say. With perseverance even the snail reached the Ark. |

BRAVO. What a beautiful love poem. "I'd take every fight we had, make it absolutely fair. I'd take all the hurtful things and will them to be gone" [This message has been edited by Midnitesun (edited 11-08-2001).] |
