You gave me hope within my heart. You gave me ever so much more. You held my hand, you calmed the strife You unlocked my bleeding heart’s door. I wish I had been there through the times that you needed someone’s gentle touch. I thought of you through these heart rhymes Cause I loved and cherished you so much. Where were you that last night when I needed your soft voice and tenderness. What were you feeling there when I could no longer me forgive and bless. I kept my lonely mind and love for you locked away within these four walls I kept my heart, my withering soul blue hidden you see, till only your love calls. The moonless nights that paint the mood inside the shell of my ever darkest dreams The loss of the sight of things once good as my blood flows down in crimson streams. I leave you now as my life ebbs slowly away for I cannot bear ever not seeing you. I leave you as my journey goes on this day. Oh my dear, how I will eternally miss you. |
