Just like a tree Still can't walk away Roots Running far too deep Yet I can fall In love Did that already With you Standing there Strong and so tall Very few winds Bending me Until a north gale Brought you Your beauty Nearly blew me away Gliding gracefully Into these empty limbs Held you tenderly Like a great oak Grown stronger since then Nurtured by your light Hopes are giant branches Soaring to the sky |

yes, I love this metaphor, trees have so much meaning and thinking of them as a man standing, tall, strong and then WHOOSH the right lady comes along and well....you said it well! -befriend yourself and you will never be alone- |
