The Shores of Alone

0 posted 2001-11-06 09:26 PM

Within a castle made of stone
surrounded by the living green forests
and the warmest lake of burnt out love;
there is a dearth of hope
embellished by a dream of past imperfect,
hanging by a golden thread of nothing left.
Yet the castle is heedless
of the come and go of dead desire
as survival warrants the nurturing
of the smallest strengths
and in the castle
made of cold gray stone
I stand alone.

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Sandra, this is so sad! (sad sigh) Soon you will never be alone again when your loving prince of your heart finds you and sweeps you off your feet! (sigh) My heart is with you, sweet friend! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sandra, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Great introspective write Sandra. Hang on to that golden thread, there may be another Knight along the way to rescue you from this castle.

I don't come around here much anymore but when I do it's nice to see you here. I liked this one and I know EXACTLY how you feel.

Ah...the castle of loneliness..

Such a touching heartfelt write. I'm sure many of us have been there..
But you'd get over it ....or so I hope.

Take care dearest

Dear Catalinamoon, you sound so lonely and unloved, I truly hope this is just in your writing works and not true to life. We all feel the pain of loneliness at times and wonder of the future, but life is a great event with many paths to take, wander from your Keep to the pastures over the way, where the voices of lovers call and loneliness lies hidden.

Loved the your work here, Hanging by a golden thread of nothing left was great.

Be well and search the love you miss.

Sincerely
Rick

Sandra, I love castles but I've never been one and stone? Nah, stone is cold and dry and well, get yourself out in the sunshine!
Break down that castle wall.....

In every wall there is the crack,
as in life it grows,
its tender fingers spreading
as what it hides it shows

In every crack there is space,
as in life it fills,
quietly holding
as hope builds sills ...

With a few more windows your Castle
could be a heavenly Palace ...
imagine all that you could see!!!
