Yummy yum..........a sorta challenge............second attempt at a smile!!

I don’t like porridge it’s gooey and thick
And sticks to your spoon when you eat it
But if you’re cold to the bone
And you’re eating alone
There isn’t a breakfast to beat it

Cornflakes are fine a favourite of mine
With crispy gold flakes of the sun
But if you’re willing to crunch
This morsel for lunch
You’ll have a right mess when you’re done

Now bacon and eggs will give your day legs
With fried bread stacked high on your plate
And a sausage or two
Can combat the flu
And give you an excuse when you’re late

If a waffle’s your thing then give me a ring
To let me know treacle or cream
There’s no if or buts
If it’s muesli and nuts
And topped with vanilla ice cream

I know you can’t beat fish for a treat
Or a slice of black pud if you’re able
So tell me now folks
And line it with jokes
What’s at your breakfast table?

I eat 6 egg whites and a banana for breakfast. But when I crave real food I love to eat toasted bagel for breakfast. Cute poem.

Well, I was dreaming of thick strawberry waffles, with a mountain of whipt creme. But I had toast and a Morningstar Breakfast Patty instead. (vegetarian fare, no 'real' sausage in there)
You'll be making everyone hungry for lunch and dinner later with your yum yum poems.

*giggling* oh gosh you are making me very hungry.....I love eggs and sausage....but the waffles are sooo yummy. mmmm makes me want to eat..
