Going The Extra Miles

They sink when empty
Heart’s need a re- fill
Conquer over gloom
With love and goodwill

With hug or handclasp
Warm heart and soul
If when broken apart
Assist back to whole

Maintain the support
Always keep in mind
Continue the sharing
Being gentle and kind

Make it a daily habit
Lifting the downcast
Firm, fixed ,resolute
In friendship steadfast

Going the extra miles
Along sea and shore
In cherishing forever
Love helps to restore

Very true, can't have hearts running empty, not at all! But these days, refilling them costs almost as much as refilling my car, y'know. Hard times, but we manage of course!
