When you are not there, I am in darkness. Your sight brings smiles to my eyes, my heart. Your gentle touch of words enthrall me. I hate it so when you are not there. Can I ever say you are not my best friend? Will those thoughts ever touch my mind? Will a kinship of two continue to eternity? I don’t know, but I truly do hope it does. You, have my deepest heartfelt admiration. You are part of my soul in many ways. I , your friend do treasure your moments. They, with you are a part of me now. The winds of autumn blow leaves away. Away from the footprints of your feet upon my mind. Away from the ground you walk on The hallowed ground I cherish so much. Gentle friendship rain fall upon my heart, my soul. The warmth of droplets caress me with kindness. Your faith and trust fall upon me as a fine mist. You, my little one are truly dear, so special. You know me as no other has ever known. Your ears, delicate to touch, have heard much. Your lips have given me great pleasure through words. Wisdom and knowledge I gain from you is great. Friends forever as two so alike in mind and soul. Friends together through moments warm and sad. Truest of friends who never say a unkind word. Best of friends who show great joy of the other. Thank you my best and truest friend. I cannot and will not cast you aside. You are a pillar of strength and comfort. Within my heart, my soul, you will reside. |

*sigh* a wonderfull poem about true friendship. You write with both skill and great heart leaving your reader amazed by how deep your feelings go. BRAVO!!!!!This poem truly tells what true friends are.  Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |
