Rewrite:

      The Edge

I lay and listen to rain
Plop by plop.
Clicking like a link of chain
Drop by drop.

Weeping on the window pane
Run by run.
Making egress look insane
One by one.

Mild to wild the living stream
Mad to mad.
Rushing to a living mean
Add by add.

One by one.
Drop by drop
Run by run
Till there are none.

The reign of rain still reigns today
And sands of time still pour our day.

in your reign of far heavier mist
you hear the last leaves lightly kissed
my gray is surround sound of quiet fog
I'm still as wet when walking the dog

see which way you inspire? You're the man!

What an interesting vision you give me. I always like the drops of rain to play like music drop by drop. Very well done.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

(big hugggssssss) Oh my gosh, what a beautiful orchestra indeed! (smiles) I love listening to the rain pattering the rooftop and the leaves always, it's such a refreshing sound! (smiles) Beautiful, sweet friend! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

=====================================

Such wise rhymes me sweet Sy...
I'm watching the weather for Florida...
do you and Randy have your raincoats and umbrellas ready?
Looks like its gonna pour on your reign...
Maybe its time to fly to Shangri-La ...
Or will the eye ... pass you by?
Be safe me sweet.

I enjoyed the continuous motion of rain on the edge.   Good description and expression.
