This I wrote in between classes the day after a chat over ICQ with a good friend about how we always come up with excuses for the ones we love... Love is simple; gently pure Love is strength to overcome; endure Love is protection; it selflessly shields Love comforts sadness and wounds; Love heals Love never places blame or regrets Love overlooks unpaid debts Love is devotion, untainted by force Love is not sorry; True love is remorse Love is music; Harmony sings true Love radiates in every color and hue Love is acceptance; No need for shame Love is a merciful, eternal flame Love is never done or begun Love is the giving rays of the Sun Love is the smile on the face of a child Love has no particular method or style Love is a gracious, listening ear Love is the warmth I feel when you're near Love is honest; It has nothing to hide Love is the soul in which you confide Love is encouraging words you say Love is life's most filling entree Do you know Love? I bet you do. I promise that it knows you, too. |

Thanks Midnitesun, JamesMichael, Mistletoe Angel and Startime!! Of the few pieces I've written so far, this is one of my favourites coz it's not sad like most of the others. It's juz my musings in general, though I've yet to experience such truly truly sweet love - that tastes like dessert  |
