Safe harbor Today I stand a hill of thoughts A ship that sails to many ports The day is gay the sails at play And I am on adventures way. The clouds pass in a sky of blue And golden rays of sun pass through. I am at rest the breeze is west And this is when I’m at my best. Misty brine encases my face Embracing me in loving grace. I hold the wheel with hands of feel My heart armored with lovers steel. I feel a giant standing tall I own this world it is my all. Moment to moment short the stay And I am here, this time, this day. Take my hand and feel the rise This life is but, one big surprise. |

(ohhowilovewhenyouwritelikethis) My KING of internal rhyme divine oh how you shine. I love this poem of anticipation and inspiration!!! and this line......... "Moment to moment short the stay" could that be any cooler?  and this line........... And this is when I’m at my best. You are right...THIS IS when you are at your best... when you have your POETS PEN in hand.... and baby...it looks good on you. *winkiewinkie*  me  I can be your hero baby ... I will kiss away the pain |
