I waited up until, until I finally cried myself to sleep. I watched the drive, a light never came. I listened for the phone, the ring escaped my ears. I waited, and waited some more, I gave up. Yesterday I thought I was in Heaven’s gate, such bliss. Today I feel as though the depths of Hell surround me. Your kiss, so aggressive, so passionate, lingers still. Only now, I taste the bitter salt from my eyes. You said you would see me last night, an eternity ago. You said all of the words I cherish, all the words I adore. You made love with the passion of young love. I cried tears of overwhelming joy as we became one. This saddened heart beats slowly, uncertain of the next throb. These eyes, now dry, cannot cry another drop. The ache I feel rests within my soul, it will not stop. Will you come again, will I see love at my door? A single light comes up a deserted drive. My heart fluttering as I run to the door. At the hospital all night, the bandage on your head. Lie down darling, let me get you a pillow. |

thank you!! i could use a pillow!!! mine has mascara on it...... but also face prints with smiles of tomorrows..... (((hugs))))) sleep and dream the dreams of beauty, filling the longings of your heart..... cry but know your teardrops are the cleansing of desire, the true beauty of your soul on fire, doused by the love you deserve |
