Blossoms You came here in October. What with winter setting in, I didn't think that flowering Would suddenly begin. But somewhere, deep inside me, I found there was a place, That always seemed to hunger For the sight of your dear face. It sprouted and it flourished And it soon became quite clear, That something new was growing At the waning of the year. The blossom, when it opened, Was so beautiful to see And then I found another, When you gave your love to me! Betty Lou Hebert [This message has been edited by Trillium (edited 09-25-2001).] |

Beautiful, October seems to be my month to try for love, also. Sounds like this was a happy ending Sandra |

Thank you so much everyone for your nice comments. I'm going to start posting some work that doesn't deal with our national tragedy, although I'm still writing about that too. Gradually easing back into a more normal routine, if I can. Betty Lou Hebert |
