It's honest, deep, and pure

I feel it too
It's honest, and deep, but
I sense fear

You tell me my love for you
Is overwhelming
I feel sad when you say this
My love for you also was once
Laced with my fears and insecurities
Until I looked deeply into myself

My dearest I ask this of you
Please let go of the fear
I am stronger now because of you
You have helped me open my world
It is because of your love for me
That now, I can clearly see

Whatever it is that makes my love
Feel overwhelming to you
I would ask that you let it go
And enjoy my love which is true
Relish the passion we share
I love you and know you care

Let us both release our fears and
Let's just soar
When you hold me in your arms
I know I can come to no harm
When you kiss me deeply
I long for more

Darling, nothing has been
as good in my life
As our love has become
Each day it gets better
I want to keep it perfect
To do that we need to unfetter
To keep free from restrictions or bonds

Fear is the worst restriction
on life, freedom, and love
Let go the bonds and feel liberty
Think, Feel, Be
Without internally imposed restraints
Only then can our love be free
