The Sultry Swirl

She lives
a garnet rivulet
sun sweet grapes
pressed to be a memory maker
An empty wine bottle
rather than a dust covered thought
corked and untouched
waiting in endless reserve
The spirit of her fruit's resolve
better served in the belly of the world
A taste of reckless passion
its love and daring sting
a sweet stain on tippling lips
Swooned by the deep red velvet lust
a woman's need swift turning
to a man's addiction
The sultry swirl she is
a leash upon a ready tongue
