IF I COULD WRITE MY HEART

If I could write my heart
like the beauty of a
Rembrandt or perhaps
of a symphony of
the finest masters
I would write a
pallet of colors
and an orchestra
of sounds for the
world to see and hear.
If I could write my heart
it might be of the breathtaking
beauty of a tide breaking
along the shorelines
under a moonlight sky
or perhaps it would be
of a sunset against
a backdrop of mountains
rising as two lovers
take in the stars
from below together
for the first time.
If I could write my heart
per chance it would be
of gentle breezes
touching the face
of a loved one
so far away
as they listen to
the sounds of a
heart beating  in the
distance.
If I could write my heart
of love that touches
my spirit and weaves
it's warmth into my soul.......
I would write~ of you.

This is a good one.  It refreshing and reads smooth.

I guess all writers want to write their heart, but you know something?  The best ones write around it, that way they feel protected.  This sounds like you wrote through it.....
