Far in the days of gentle seek
I hold you close in tender keep
You wander out and wander far
Under the touch of silvery star
The moon does bath in glorious moonbeam
As you float in the land of ancient dream

What be real and what be not
You might as well untangle Gordian knot
Or slice it clean in Alexander’s way
And believe in what was, in another day
Take what is given in gentle feel
Then you may know the touch of real

If what you had, is now so lost
Then examine the coin that you do toss
For you may find, counterfeit it be
And another path is open to thee
So take the hand that does extend
And walk the roads of once again

Logan--You see far beyond most winding paths..but the hand extended is a gift that is timeless for many.  Hugs!

Logan...And walk the roads of once again.
I am at a loss for words at the moment, but wanted to respond to you.  There is something about this last stanza which brought tears to my eyes,...something all too familiar....I'll get back to you on it....enjoyed so much.
Thank you dear gentle man.  ~hugs, Nancy~

wise words from someone who has walked many roads...
may they all rise up to meet you
your wrap us in rhyme divine and teach us to read between the lines
well done sweet keeper...your fire burns bright and warms all who sit beside you.

This distance has shown how the road remains alone
Now I'm looking in my life ... for a truth that is my own.

What I say might seem repetitive, but it's the truth (I guess I shld just try to polish up my vocabulary :P)

This poem is in some way really touching, and what u wrote in the last para, it gives one so much hope. That there really is an alternative path, even when u r and have lost.

Logan~
You touch my heart gently with this penning~

'Far in the days of gentle seek
I hold you close in tender keep
You wander out and wander far
Under the touch of silvery star

And another path is open to thee
So take the hand that does extend
And walk the roads of once again'

Thank you~
I love you~

Don't we know the many that this will touch, for those that believe of other times experienced, will surely draw much from the fact that they are not alone...

a touching read...thank you for this....
