HALLOWEEN TERROR

It's

My heart begins to pound
I ca

banging

sending a
DEEP chill of terrOR Up my back
I can feel that someth

It waits for just the r

The nig

that ech

raising g

while some

The old door squeaks
AS I open it wanting to see
that which my heart is the very most fearful of
They are getting closer and I hold my breath
and smile as I fill their treat bags up

What a great pumpkin poem!  I love this shaped style...don't know if it's called a particular type of form.

And may they all get treats and not terror...I work at nights til eleven pm so I don't usually pass out candy but I love to go to Waikiki right after work and see all the people walking around late at night in their costumes...that is a treat...James
