porcelain
  is our life

and yet
  we keep applying
    pressure

taking its preciousness
  to the very limit
    as if testing its strength
in some futile search of character

until it finally crashes
  on our own faces

breaking into pieces
  those pieces that we
    struggle later
      to put together

often
  taking pains
    to make them stick
      together once again

but the smiles
  on the faces
    of our life is
      deformed,

distorted forever
  like fractured truth
    manufactured from
      an original painting

      of lies
      (maybe?)

----------------------------------------------------
am in a bit of introspective mood these days... sometimes weird... sometimes harsh... sometimes true... sometimes not so...

Thank you for coming by and many regards...

A very deep examination penned Sudhir, I love it!

distorted forever
  like fractured truth
    manufactured from
      an original painting

      of lies
      (maybe?)

especially loved the above lines.

You made me think of the beautiful porcelain masks that one sees in New Orleans all of the time, and which made a "debut" of sorts back in the 80's as room decorations...

but then, of course, as always, your words touched a deeper thread...

well done, Sudhir...

Sudhir
It's so nice to read your poetry again
Our lives are made of pocelain
Fragile and delicate,
Once broken and repaired,
we appreciate them more
and handle with care

A wonderful piece

I sit here with my tube of super glue and hundreds of mis-matched pieces, not knowing where to begin or even if I should. *S* But I do know I like this very much. *S*

Sudhir~
My friend ... I just loved the delicacy of this piece~
As a collector of tiny Porcelain pieces,
I recognized the fragile analogy ... very fitting~

Sudsy....geeze, it's been a while since I called you that. I really like this one...liked it so much I had to read it aloud, then had to read it aloud to a friend of mine. I like the flow, the fractured lines, the intentional pauses, the structure, the form which meanders but tries to adhere, much like the porcelain pieces inexpertly glued back in place.

Well written indeed.

(big hugggssssss) Wonderful and interesting wisdom fills your words, dearest Sudhir! (sigh) Our lives are all but porcelain, and they can shatter indeed and distort our ways of feeling, but as long as we all love each other and believe in our loving hearts, our porcelain hearts will be sheer and shiny always! (sigh) BRAVO!!! I love your words!!! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sudhir, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

You have painted an exquisite portrait, the fragility of our porcelain human existence on this all-too-fragile planet. Thank you, Sudhir.

Very well written Sudhir. I have only seen a couple of your poems, but I admire your style and imagery in those that I have read.
