She was always much too frail
Beyond slender and much too pale,
Yet her eyes were open wide,
My inner secrets couldn’t hide.

“It’s like I thought Death would be,”

Her words got my attention,
Which was just her intention,
Fragile smile from one too light,
Given too the one dark as night.

“It’s like I thought Death would be,”

She touch my cheek so tender,
Then clicked for the dispenser
It glazed her eyes and the pain,
I never saw her again.
