In Your Poetic Mind

Whispers
I see their reflection
In vibrant colors,
In painted clouds
In fall leaves dancing
On roaring winds
In clock towers
That chime daily faces,
In fragments of music strummed gently,
Unreachable to my fingers yet
My eyes begin to softly cry
Look deeply into the
Emerald world
They reveal what you seek,
Found in
Secret places of the heart
The one only you know
When the wind speaks listen
The best time, early morning
Before the mist rises,
You live in my embrace,
In my vision of beauty,
On the wings of angels
In captured images
I no longer can find,
How long can we keep our rapture?
Feel this,
Touch the silent water
In early dusk
And consume the brilliance
Of sunsets golden streams and lavender hue
When life was innocent
And I call to you
Come back, and listen
Return to time

Still

Move closer
Touch the water
Remember
I have loved you beyond time
Stir it slowly
You are part of it
You live within my embrace

~~

because in spite of everything,
I still believe that
people are really good at heart.

I love those thoughts...nature has so much to say, we just have to listen.

You have laid out a beautiful procession of thoughts..each one filled with vivid imagery and a flow so soft and gentle that it's almost like a whisper on the wind

Hugs,
~Krista

Your beautiful words & creativity allow me to connect with the same in myself.
Thank you for having the courage to share yourself so that I can too

Greeneyes,
Images from a place where we like to be applied to a place where we long to be! Nicely done.

time and time again ...you write my heart...
god this is so damn beautiful L.
and it showcases your gift of pen to write such softly stunning images that float down to the reader and carry them away to a place of inner peace in your whispers.
exquisite my friend...absolutely emerald-enchanting

Such soft and romantic music
you're writing Greeneyes~

Brings to mind the song from
'My Fair Lady'

I could have spread my wings and done a thousands things I've never done before.
I'll never know what made it so exciting, when all at once my heart took flight~~~

I ooooonly know when he began to dance with me, I could have danced, danced, danced
all night!!  ha!!

Now see what you've started?

There are those that write of the heart and then there are those that make us see and feel what is in their heart through their pen and the later would be you. Wonderful verse filled with the power and magic of love that only a heart that understands could spill forth.  Truely a splendid piece of work.
