Lost In My Dreams

The warm breezes of the night surround me
A soft, caressing hand upon my face
Gentle fingers that others cannot see
With tenderness my eyes and lips do trace
Vision wraps spirit in serenity
Lifting me ever higher into space
My soul reaches out with amenity
As I drift into my favourite place
Engulfed by the symphony your words make
Playing to me over the distant miles
Missing the rhythm of your heart, I ache
Awaiting magic that brings joyful smiles
To memory of loving words, I cling
Lost in my dreams where I hear your voice sing

Nancy....thank you so much. I am glad you enjoyed this but then all us romantics feel pretty much the same....it sure is nice to express our dreams.

Wanda....You honor me with your words. You always manage to express so much in your own poems that I am left in awe of you. There you go, *grin* we are tie. **hugs**

Sandra...So do I, dear one. But maybe as we write our dreams somehow, sometime they will become our reality. I cannot help but hope that somewhere out there is someone for me to share love with and I am sure there is for you too...we just have to be patient and let him find us. ***hugs***

Aren't dreams lovely? I spend a lot of time lost in them too. Sometimes we need respite from the harsh every day realities of life. You write your dreams beautifully Karen.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?
