She sat alone in the grande old mansion her thoughts in silent reverie as she thought about the future and days that used to be. The coming hot August evening brought a certain stillness to the air she moved to the mahogany writing desk her hearts sadness she would now bare. In verse she poured out her emotions in the daily journal that she kept the pages becoming faded and worn from all the tears that she had wept. She wrote of how she missed him and of how she had loved him so that she knew deep in her heart it was time to let him go. With ink and feathered quill loves sweet sorrow she released and this night she would have rest her heart finally finding peace. On the wings of words our spirits fly....and our souls are free. ~Me~ (I could have missed the pain, but I'd have had to miss the dance~Garth) [This message has been edited by Gentle Spirit (edited 10-28-2001).] |

*sigh* brings both kinds of tears to the heart....tears of sorrow for her loss and tears of hope for her future. A magnificent poem that I am putting in my collection. Thank you for touching my heart today. Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |

With ink and feathered quill loves sweet sorrow she released and this night she would have rest her heart finally finding peace. This is the reason we must write sometimes. I love the feathered quill. I can see its motion as she writes and the tears as they stain the pages. Death comes not when we cease to breathe, but when we cease to dream. |

Gentle Spirit, I giggled with Midnitesun over Lucie's lost amethyst, and now I cry with you over the loss of a love. That is truly what Passions is all about, feelings, each poet letting us into the feelings of their soul. Dawn |
