Lucie’s Discipline

I went to Lucie's house to see her one day,
Asked her mom if she’d come out and play
Her mom didn’t really think she should,
Said Lucie hasn’t been all that good.

It made me feel so very sad,
What was it that was so bad.
Said it was something about school,
Lucie had broken some kind of rule.

Just but before I turned to finally go,
One more thing I wanted to know.
I wanted to understand this fully,
Had Lucie been the playground bully.

Her mom was shocked that I knew,
And asked me what she ought to do.
I said make her write a romantic poem,
Then let her in the neighborhood roam.

Lucie looks to me like she is up for a good word joust.

But Larry, can Lucy really write of love?
And hearts and flowers and all that stuff
It seems to me she’d be more on par
Of writing of condoms and maybe bars
But if you’ve thrown the challenge down
She’ll write of romance and not play the clown
Now this is something I’ve gotta see
A romantic poem written by that Lucy

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

I'm hoping she'll make me swoon,
Even consider howling at the moon.
Fantasy and love maybe even more,
Those are the things I really adore.
